In brief

Suites start at €90,000, the foundation stone was laid on 4 July 2026 and handover is expected at the end of 2028. Each suite is registered in the buyer’s name, and the buyer can use it for 4 weeks a year.

4 FAQs at the end of the guide

On this page we have gathered the most frequently asked questions about The View, grouped by topic. The answers are based solely on official project data. For the financial and contractual terms, the official presentation remains the reference, and should be read carefully.

The project

What is The View?

It is an Apart-Hotel: a hotel divided into suites, each with its own owner, run by hospitality professionals. If the format is new to you, start with the guide What is an Apart-Hotel.

Where is it?

On the beach at Praia Cabral, in Sal Rei, the main town on the island of Boa Vista, in Cape Verde. You can get to know the area better on the page dedicated to Praia Cabral.

How many suites are there?

The project comprises 65 suites. 98% of the suites have an ocean view.

Who designed it?

The architect Giò Gozzi. The starting idea was simple: to give as many suites as possible a view of the ocean. That is why The View was conceived as an amphitheatre on the sea.

Who is behind the project?

The group headed by Boavista2000.com and Daniele Rampini, present on Boa Vista for more than 25 years, with more than 350 properties built and sold. The group’s first Apart-Hotel is the White Hotel, which is now operating. Its story is told in the guide White Hotel: the story of the project.

Prices and buying

How much does a suite cost?

Suites at The View are available from €90,000. Up-to-date prices and availability are given in the official presentation.

What exactly am I buying?

A suite, registered in your name. Not a share in a fund, nor a shared right of use. The difference is explained in the guide registered ownership or a share.

Can I buy if I live abroad?

Yes. Many clients follow the purchase from their home country, with the support of the group on the spot. The legal and tax aspects, both in your country and in Cape Verde, must be checked with a professional.

Timescales and building works

When do the works start and finish?

The foundation stone is set for 4 July 2026. Handover is expected at the end of 2028.

How can I follow progress?

On the page The building site live we publish updates and photos from the site. You can also come and see it in person during an exploratory trip.

Is buying before handover risky?

Every off-plan purchase calls for attention to timescales, payments and safeguards. We have written a dedicated guide: buying an off-plan property.

The format

Who manages the suite when I am not there?

The hotel. Bookings, guests, cleaning and maintenance are entrusted to hospitality professionals. You do not have to deal with day-to-day management. The management contract runs for 10 years.

Can I go on holiday in my suite?

Yes: personal use of 4 weeks a year is included. We explain how it works in practice in the guide on personal use of the suite.

What are the financial terms?

They are set out in the official presentation and in the contract. Read them calmly, point by point, and have them checked by your adviser. To see whether the format suits you, compare it with a traditional apartment on the page Apartment or Apart-Hotel?.

What to consider before deciding

The View is designed for those who want a property on Boa Vista without taking on a second job. It does, however, have one clear limitation: it offers less freedom of use than a traditional apartment. If you want to spend many months a year on the island, an apartment may be more suitable.

The first step

The simplest way to start is to receive the official presentation and talk it over with us. Request it from the contact page or book a video call: we answer personally.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see the building site in person?

Yes. We organise exploratory trips to Boa Vista to visit The View’s building site, the White Hotel, which is already operating, and the Praia Cabral area. Write to us to arrange the dates.

Are all the suites the same?

The project comprises 65 suites and 98% have an ocean view. Types, positions and up-to-date availability are given in the official presentation: request it for the details.

Can I sell my suite at The View?

The suite is registered in your name, so it remains a property that you can sell or leave to your heirs. The resale arrangements set out in the contract should be read carefully. Find out more in the guide selling a property in Cape Verde.
