Data controller
The data controller is Hotel White SA, Largo Isabel – Sal Rei, Boa Vista (Cape Verde), NIF 269597506. For any request concerning your data, write to info@boavista2000.com.
What data we collect
Through the contact and video-call booking forms we collect only the data you enter: name, email, telephone (optional), the subject of your request, your message and, for the video call, the day and time chosen.
Why we use it
We use this data to respond to your request, send you the information you asked for and arrange any video call. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box before sending. Requests about The View are shared with Daniele Rampini and his associates, who will assist you with the next steps (call, meeting, viewing trip). We do not pass the data on to anyone else.
Newsletter (optional). Only if you tick the box “I want to receive news” will your name, your email and, if you provided it, your telephone number be added to our mailing list, managed with the SMSHosting service, to send you updates on The View and on investing on Boa Vista. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email or by writing to us.
How we process it and for how long
Your request reaches us by email and is recorded in the website’s private area, accessible only to us, with a reference code so that it can be followed up over time. We also send you a confirmation email with a summary. The data is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any subsequent contact, and is then deleted; newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing or withdraw your consent, by writing to info@boavista2000.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, video previews from YouTube (the actual video only when you press play, in cookie-free mode) and the temperature on Boa Vista from Open-Meteo.
Only if you accept them in the cookie banner does the website also use analytics and advertising tools: Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity (to understand how the website is used) and the Meta Pixel (to measure campaigns on Facebook and Instagram). Details are in the Cookie Policy.
