When you are assessing a new project, the most useful question is: has the developer already done something similar? In the case of The View, the answer has a name: the White Hotel. Here is its story, told through the figures that matter.
The first chapter on Boa Vista
The White Hotel is the group’s first Apart-Hotel on Boa Vista. It is in Sal Rei, the island’s main town. It was conceived, designed and built for people who wanted to invest on Boa Vista while keeping full ownership of their unit, without having to deal with day-to-day management.
It is the result of a long journey: the group headed by Boavista2000.com and Daniele Rampini has almost 30 years of property activity on the island and more than 350 properties built and sold.
The figures, without adjectives
- 69 suites sold, chosen by Italian and other European investors;
- 100% of the units allocated;
- a 4-star hotel;
- built and now operating.
These are simple figures, but they say something important: the project was completed and it works. It is not a render; it is a building that welcomes guests.
How it was conceived
The idea behind the White Hotel is the Apart-Hotel format: each investor buys their own suite, registered in their name, and management is entrusted to hospitality professionals. Bookings, guests, cleaning and maintenance are handled by the hotel.
If you want to understand the model better, read What is an Apart-Hotel and the guide on the difference between registered ownership and a share. On the White Hotel page you will also find the video telling the story of how the project came about.
What it teaches today’s investors
A completed project is the best answer to many of the questions you would ask about a new one:
- Does the group finish the works? The White Hotel is finished and operating.
- Does the format genuinely appeal to investors? All 69 suites have been sold.
- Can you see what it is like in reality? Yes: the White Hotel can be visited during an exploratory trip.
Of course every project is different, and the results of one are no promise for another. But seeing a finished piece of work gives you more to go on. It is one of the criteria we also suggest in the guide on how to choose who to trust in Cape Verde.
From the White Hotel to The View
The success of the White Hotel laid the foundations for the second chapter: The View. The new Apart-Hotel is rising on the beach at Praia Cabral, also in Sal Rei, and has 65 suites. The project is designed by the architect Giò Gozzi and was conceived as an amphitheatre on the sea, with 98% of the suites facing the ocean.
Suites start from €90,000. The foundation stone was laid on 4 July 2026 and handover is expected at the end of 2028. You can follow the works on the page The building site live.
The View follows the White Hotel format: a suite registered in the buyer’s name, management entrusted to the hotel and personal use of 4 weeks a year. The financial and contractual terms are set out in the official presentation and should be read carefully.
